What would you guys like to see happen in Marked Tree?

-- Posted by Josh Martin on Tue, Jul 29, 2008, at 10:38 AM

I would like to see the community get involved and more businesses come into Marked Tree. What's the point of having this fancy sport complex if when visitors come they have only a few options to eat. What is to keep them from going to Sonic or KFC/Taco Bell. Are we, the town, benefiting from this or others? But then again, maybe that's the point of the complex, to bring businesses in...One can only hope.

I would like to see change take place in the community for all people. I would like to see a place that has a positive atmosphere for children and youth. I would like to see more people involved so that change can happen in the community. I have started a mentor program in the area that is focused on change. Our children are our future and they deserve to have a better community filled with opportunities, More businesses and more things to do.
