Cleo Goldman

Cleo Goldman, 83, of Lepanto, died on Friday, May 9, 2003, at the Trumann Nursing Home.

Born on November 28, 1919 in Turrell, Goldman was a farmer and of the Pentecostal faith.

Goldman was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Mofield Goldman, his parents, Grover and Margaret Goldman and four sisters.

Survivors include four sons, William Wayne Goldman of Seattle, Wash., Rickey Ray Goldman of Rosebud, Ark., David Eugene Goldman of Tyronza, and Tommy Lee Goldman of Bellstrop, Texas; two daughters, Nancy Carolyn Joyce of Plant City, Fla. and Donna Sue Russell of Marked Tree; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Monday, May 12, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the United Pentecostal Church in Lepanto. Interment followed at Garden Point Cemetery in Athelstan, with Brother Lynn Vinson and Brother Bill John Harris officiating.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10, 2003 from 6 -- 9 p.m. and Sunday, May 11, 2003 from 12 -- 9 p.m. at the United Pentecostal Church in Lepanto.

Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola had charge of the arrangements.
