Floyd Pollard

Floyd Pollard, 65, of Caraway, died on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at his home.

Born on January 30, 1938 in Caraway, Pollard was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Caraway and a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Pollard of Caraway; six sons, Billy and Joey Pollard of Caraway, Bobby Pollard of Evening Shade, Ark., Randy Pollard of Kilgore, Texas, Earnest Pollard of Linn, Mo. and Teddy Pollard of Hot Springs; six daughters, Rosetta Fagan of Trumann, Janet Calvert, Cynthia Pollard and Julia Barrett of Caraway, Mechelle Weyer of Paragould and Tammy Walsh of Manila; one brother, Lloyd Pollard of Bay; one sister, Susie Lewis of Muldrow, Okla.; 32 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Friday, May 16, 2003 at the New Hope Baptist Church in Caraway with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial followed at Caraway Cemetery with David Calvert, Gaylon Barrett, Barry Weyer, Mark Pollard, Jay Calvert and Jason Fagan serving as pallbearers. Tob Brewer, W.L. Cornwell, Fred Couch, Terry Couch, Dewayne Couch and J.L. Shortancy were honorary pallbearers.

Visitation was held. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza had charge of the arrangements.
