Born September 24, 1944, in Blytheville, the daughter of Charles Frank and Bertha Mae Chaney, she was a lifelong area resident and a member of Yarbro Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on April 17, 1964 to Tommy Burnham. She devoted her life to caring for her home and family and enjoyed cooking for them. She enjoyed collecting antiques and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Her parent and one brother, William Paul Wamble, preceded her in death.
Burnham leaves her husband of 39 years, Tommy Burnham of Yarbro; two sons, Tom Burnham and his wife Lisa and Todd Burnham and his wife Pam, all of Blytheville; three brothers, Glen Wamble and Bobby Wamble, both of Germantown, Tenn. and John Wamble of Blytheville; one sister, Edna Croft of Troy, Mo.; and two grandsons, Joshua and Matthew Burnham.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, May 23, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
