Odessa Sipes, 68, of Dyess died at her residence on Friday, May 30, 2003.

A member of the First Pentecostal Church of Marked Tree and homemaker, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Williams.

Survivors include six daughters, Janie Clark of Hot Springs, Trissa Ann Price, Dottie Sandoval, Christina JoAnn Miller and Rhonda Sipes, all of Dyess, and Annie Belle Maness of Aberdeen, Ohio; five sons, Bill Joe Sipes and Michael Sipes of Millport, Ala., Larry Joe Sipes of Whitten, Charley Sipes of Marked Tree and Rocky Sipes of Lepanto; one sister, Vern Brennan of Perry, Fla.; two brothers, Tom Smallwood and Bailey Smallwood, both of Dyess; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on June 3, 2003 at the Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery.
