Graveside services for Carl E. Rorie, 79, of Jonesboro, who died Thursday, June 5, at St. Bernard's Medical Center, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Pordue Cemetery at Onia. Logan Lawrence officiated.

Rorie lived in Arkansas the past several years. He was a retired farmer and truck driver. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Carl Lee Rorie of Jonesboro; two daughters, Brenda Pries of Medaryville, Ind., and Janice Engle of Ponca City Okla.; three brothers, Eunis Rorie and Frank Rorie both of Ponca City and Donald Lee Rorie of Richmond, Wash.; four sisters, Velma Payne of Greenville Miss., Selma Woods of Marked Tree, Jean Davis of Jonesboro and Donnie Sue Miller of Meeker, Okla.; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held at Rollers-Crouch Funeral Home at Mountain View.
