Funeral services for Carl Mallory Roberts, 77, of Osceola, who died Thursday, June 12, 2003 at Northwest Nursing Center in Fayetteville, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2003 in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.

The Rev. Jim Roberts officiated, and burial followed in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens at Osceola.

Born in Osceola, he was a lifelong resident of Osceola, served in the Army during World War II and was retired from the Osceola Housing Authority, where he worked in maintenance for 30 years. He was a member and board member of First Christian Church in Osceola.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Roberts of Osceola; a stepson, Charles George of Phoenix; a stepdaughter, Shirley Shields of Rogers; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
