She had lived in Marked Tree for 15 years after moving from Tyronza. She was a member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, where she served on the Mother Board.
Survivors include six sons, John Butler of Tokyo, Willie Aaron Butler, Robert Butler and Bennie Butler, all of Rochester, N.Y., Maurice Butler of Memphis and Ricky Butler of Frankfurt, Germany; four daughters, Dorothy Dillard of Rochester and Ruby Butler, Carla Williams and Elousie Butler, all of Marked Tree; four sisters, Jeanie Pulluiam, Rose Cutler, Inez Cutler and Martha Cutler, all of Rochester; three brothers, McKenzie Cutler, Willie Cutler and Blue Jay Cutler, all of Rochester; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Butler.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3 at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ in Marked Tree, with David Corns officiating. Burial followed in Cherry Beam Cemetery at Tyronza. Sims-Woodard Funeral Home of Marked Tree is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers were Ray Jones, Jerry Jones, James Williams Jr., Gregg Pippins, Freddie Moore Sr. and Mark Blake. Sons served as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation was held Monday at the funeral home.
