A member of Marked Tree First United Methodist Church, she served as president of the Woman's Progressive Club and was a member of the Monday and Thursday Club and the Tripoli Club. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include six grandchildren, Cheryl Fisher of Plano, Lisa Johnson of Trumann, Allan Duck of Dallas, Lynn Allen of West Memphis, Dr. Rebekah Lowrey of Rome, Ga., and David M. Dickerson of Wentzville, Mo.; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. D.A. Dickerson; one daughter, June Dickerson Duck; and her parents, Edward Green and Nannie Crew Fields.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, July 17, at First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree, with the Revs. Joe Sparks and Bob Hagen officiating. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are John Allen, Billy Fisher, Johnny Johnson, Lewis Wood, Richard Dickerson, Kamiar Duck, Jason Duck and Randy Shinabery.
Honorary pallbearers will include E.L. Shinabery, Phillip Calvern, Frank Brunner Jr., George Willoughby, Richard Fleming, Junaway Payne, Jimmy Berry and Bob Bolton.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree.
Roller-Citizens Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
