Doug Allison

Doug Allison, 62, of Marked Tree died Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at his residence.

A self-employed truck driver, he was of the Pentecostal belief.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Allison of Marked Tree; a son, Darren Fraley of Marked Tree; two daughters, Melissa Victory of Trumann and Barbara Casanova of Sheridan; his mother, Della Allison Woods of Tyronza; four sisters, Ann Lenderman, Phyllis Warner and Ruby Smith, all of Tyronza, and Linda Blagg of Byhalia, Miss.; five brothers, Loyd Allison, Alvin Allison and Larry Allison, all of Tyronza, and Jerry Allison and James Allison, both of Marion; eight grandchildren, Brandon Victory, Allison Victory, Tiffney Hayse, Mallory Fraley, Ryan Whitson, Natalie Whitson, Hailey Whitson and Kaley Whitson; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 19 at Murphy Funeral Home chapel in Marked Tree. Boyd Hosman officiated, and burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery.

Active pallbearers included Raymond Hayse, Bud Hardin, Jiggs Hamilton, John Hamilton, Ronnie Victory and Randy Victory.

Honorary pallbearers included employees of Riceland Foods, Bush Agricultural and E. Ritter Seed Co.

Visitation was held at the funeral home.
