Ruby Whitt, 86, of West Memphis, formerly of Trumann, died Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Crittenden Memorial Hospital at West Memphis.

A homemaker, she was a member of Viva Street Church of Christ in Trumann and attended Missouri Street Church of Christ in West Memphis.

Survivors include one son, V.J. Whitt of West Memphis; two daughters, Wanda Phillips of West Memphis and Etta Montgomery of Largo, Fla.; two sisters, Pauline Holms of Terre Haute, Ind., and Virginia Beaman of Brazil, Ind.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Whitt.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 4 in Marked Tree Cemetery.

Visitation was held Monday at Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree.

Memorials may be made to the Missouri Street Church of Christ in West Memphis.
