Jerry N. Hindman

Jerry N. Hindman, 68, of Indianapolis died Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born in Tyronza, he worked for ARA Services Vending Repair Services for 20 years. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Hindman had the handle of "Early Bird" on the Citizens Band Radio.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara L. Nichols Hindman of the home; three sons, Jerry Steven Hindman, Michael Joe Hindman and Randy L. Hindman; one daughter, Tammie McLean; three sisters, Barbara Bohall, Mary Hammer and Linda Whitmore; one stepsister, Vanessa Mayer; one brother, Rodney Hindman; one stepbrother, Bart Stewart; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Legacy Funeral Alternatives at Memorial Park in Indianapolis.

Visitation was held Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
