Louise Lizer Jones, 73, of Osceola died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Osceola.

She had lived in Mississippi County for more than 50 years and was a member of Green Acres Church of Christ in Osceola.

Survivors include a son, Clifford Miller Sr. of Osceola; a daughter, Vickie Brown of Osceola; a sister, Willie Mae Ellison of Chicago; three brothers, Charles Brown and Lovell Brown, both of Earle, and Harvey Lee Pearson of Elgin, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, German Jones; and her parents, E.L. and Gussie Brown.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26 at Greene Acres Church of Christ, with Nathan Suiter officiating. Burial followed in Whiteside Cemetery at Osceola under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.

Visitation was held at the funeral home.
