She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Marked Tree.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Ruthven and Larry Wayne Ruthven, both of Marked Tree; nine grandchildren, William Christopher Ruthven, Dustin Wayne Ruthven, William Cord Needler, Lisa Marie Ruthven, Richard Lee Ruthven, Christy Ann Ruthven, Jenni Lynn Ruthven, Scotty Needler and Hubert Dewayne Ruthven; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Ruthven, and her parents, Jesse Lee and Samantha Jackson.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2 at Central Baptist Church, with Chad Stoddard and Jerry Harmon officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery at Lepanto.
Active pallbearers were William Ruthven, Dustin Ruthven, William Needler, Scotty Needler, James Frans and Tommy Champion.
Honorary pallbearers included Danny Johnson, James Kemp, Bruce Simmons, Michael Champion, Franky Frans, Dale Adamson and Richard Lee Ruthven.
Visitation was held Monday at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
