Madeline M. Williams, 89, of Trumann died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

She had worked as a telephone operator for Ritter Telephone and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Trumann.

Survivors include a sister, Joyce James of Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lois Williams, and six sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 in the chapel of Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, with Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be members of her church.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
