Queen Ester Harrison

Queen Ester Harrison, 82, of Blytheville died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville.

Born in Palestine, she was a homemaker, a resident of Mississippi County for 20 years and a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville.

Survivors include three daughters, Erma Jean Purnell, Juanita Guy and Estella Wilborn, all of Detroit; three sons, Willie Wilborn, Robert Wilborn and Joe Wilborn, all of Blytheville; a brother, Amos Brewer of Flint, Mich.; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Harrison, and her parents.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Theodis Rucker officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Blytheville under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville.

Visitation was held Sunday at the funeral home.
