A charter member of Marked Tree Garden Club, she was a master judge for the Arkansas Garden Club, a volunteer cook for the Marked Tree Lions Club and a member of First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree.
Survivors include a son, Howard Boxley of Cumming, Ga.; six grandchildren, Shelia Anderson, John Boxley Jr., Robert Wyatt Boxley, Kathleen Boxley, Robert Kent Boxley and David Wyatt Boxley; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt Boxley; one son, John Boxley; and one daughter, Virginia McCarthy.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree, with the Rev. Bob Hager officiating. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
Active pallbearers will be Gary Woods, Charles Glover, Ritter Arnold, Randy Shinabery, Dixon Chandler and John Price.
Honorary pallbearers will include Gene Hanna, Phillip Calvert, members of the Marked Tree Lions Club, Dr. V.B. Smith and E.L. Shinabery.
Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church at Marked Tree or to the Marked Tree Library.
