Charlene Davis, 44, of Osceola died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis.

She was a member of the motherboard of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Davis of OsceoIa; a son, Robert Lee Coleman Jr. of Osceola; a daughter, Teketa Speed of Osceola; her mother, Rosa Lee Jackson of Osceola; five sisters, Cathy Marshall and Lizzie Hughes, both of Osceola, Carolyn Faye Hughes and Annie Mae Perkings, both of Chicago and Tracey Coleman of Atlanta; seven brothers, Willie Hughes and Larry Hughes, both of Osceola, Johnny Simmions and Eddie Jackson, both of Stringwood, Ill., Clarence Leroy Hughes and David Hughes, both of Elgin, Ill., and Harold Dean Hughes of Milwaukee; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie James Hughes.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Osceola, with the Rev. Carl Guy officiating. Burial will follow in Whiteside Cemetery at Osceola under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
