Albert Rollins

Albert Rollins, 83, of Marked Tree, died Thursday, December 18, 2003 at his residence.

An Army veteran, he served in the 29th Infantry Co. in the invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. He was a commercial fisherman who owned Rollins Fish Market for more than 50 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Earlene Rollins of the home; a daughter, Jo Ann Wright of West Memphis; one granddaughter, Karen Lumpkin of Marion; and one great-grandson.

Graveside services were held Saturday, December 20, in Marked Tree Cemetery with J.E. Crawford officiating. Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree was in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were Eric Lumpkin, Kevin Lumpkin, Shannon Montgomery, Buddy Joe Montgomery, Terry Rollins and Terry Rollins Jr.
