Jerry Lane Darby Sr., 59, of Osceola died Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Osceola Healthcare.

Born in Hope, Miss., he was a retired truck driver and a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Kouch Darby; two daughters, Karen Simmerson of Marion and Sharon Darby of West Memphis; four sons, Jerry Darby Jr. of West Memphis, Patrick Darby of Marion, Wayne Darby of Des Moines, Iowa, and Thomas Darby of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Lillie Mae Daniels and Marty Anglin, both of Bryant, and Louise Thomas of Proctor; a brother, Willie David Darby of West Memphis; and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, with J.E. Elliott officiating. Burial followed in Crittenden Memorial Park at Marion.
