Mary Alma Muse Bell, 81, of Marked Tree, died Thursday, Feb. 12, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

She was of the Baptist belief and worked as a retail merchant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Bell, a step-son Joe Bell, her parents, and one brother.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandy Bell Teague of Marked Tree, Debra Bell Kirkland of Ripley, TN, and Patti Bell Black of Clarksdale, MS; three sisters, Lucille Shopher of Oak Grove, LA, Imogene Heckman of Jonesboro, and Georgia Lee Barrett of Harrisburg; one brother, Leonard Muse of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren, Patrick Kirkland, Shannon Kirkland, Jeff Black, Leigh Ann Bowers, Jobi Jay Teague, Audra Byzet, Michael Kirkland, and Holly Raye Teague; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday February 14th, at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree, with the Rev. Joe Sparks officiating. Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree.

Active pallbearers were Jerry Teague, John Price, Clay Clark, Jimmy Swift, Heath Griffith, Terry Clark, Michael Williams, and Jimmy Dunlap.

Honorary pallbearers were Ritter Arnold, Darrell Bell, Randy Shinaberry, Dr. Vestal Smith, Johnny Rye, Jr., Jim Gillis, Larry Wray, Ricky Tubbs, Charley Williams, and Ferry Heckman.
