Helen Maxine Tacker

Helen Maxine Tacker, 73, of Odessa, died Tuesday, February 17 at Hospice House.

She was born in Adamsville Tennessee and attended high school in Marked Tree. She was active in both Girl and Boy Scouting with her children and husband, a member of Parkview Church of Christ, and a strong advocate for the Children's Miracle Network.

She is survived by her husband of almost 51 years, George E. Tacker of Odessa, a son, Robert E Tacker and wife, Connie; two daughters Kay L. Warner and Debra Wheeler; one brother Joe R. Wilkins; six grandchildren, Penny L. Warner, Brian and Katy Warner, Kristy Tacker, Lisa Tacker, Austin Tacker; and one great-grand child, Kade Carlile, all of Odessa.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 20 at Parkview Church of Christ with Charles Jones and Dennis Dillon officiating. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice House, Odessa Christian School, The American Lung Association or American Heart Association.
