Jimmie Doss Dunlap, 83, of Marked Tree died Tuesday, March 2 at his residence. Dunlap was a World War II veteran and worked for Arkansas Power and Light for 34 years. He was of the Church of Christ Belief.

Dunlap was survived by his wife Flora Jean Dunlap of Marked Tree; sons Tommy Doss Dunlap of Marked Tree, Dale Dunlap of Lepanto, Chet Dunlap of Jonesboro and Jim Dunlap of Marked Tree; daughter Barbara Westbrook of Wynne; sister Vivian Howard of Santa Paula, Calif.; brother Blair Dunlap of Yellville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3 at Murphy Funeral home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Sparks officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Phillip Brunner, David Morgan, Randall Burcham, Ben Sexton, G.C. Shortnacy and Parker Dunlap.

Honorary pallbearers are Jesse McCrary, Billy Hunt and Rodger Williams
