Eddie Turner, 77, of Osceola died Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville.

Born in Mississippi, he had worked in a factory and was a member of Promiseland Church of God in Christ.

Survivors include five daughters, Daise Jackson, Lillie Fletcher, Marie Coleman, Louis Turner and Falicia Houston, all of Osceola; six sons, Eddie Turner Jr., Nathaniel Turner, Larry Turner Sr. and Patrick Turner, all of Osceola, Lonnie Turner of West Memphis and Louis Turner of Little Rock; two sisters, Estella Tibbs of Osceola and Margrett McClain of Chicago; a brother, Isiah McClain of Chicago; 34 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday February 28 at Promiseland Church of God in Christ, with Lonnie Turner officiating. Burial followed in Whiteside Cemetery at Osceola under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
