Elizabeth Virginia Smith, 68, of Tyronza died Friday, March 19, at her residence.

She was a member of Upper Room Apostolic Church in Tyronza.

Survivors include one son, Billy W. Smith of Trumann; four daughters, Shirley Taylor, Mary Welch and Diane Orgen, all of Tyronza, and Dorothy Smith of Jonesboro; seven sisters, Louise Smith, Thelma Russell, Clara Nell Green, Nadine Greene and Nancy McIntare, all of Tyronza, Kathrine Young of Smithville; and Robbie Smith of Annieville; one brother, David Wood of Tyronza; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Smith; her parents, Robert and Jewel Wood; and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 22 at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, with Lynn Vinson officiating. Burial followed in Tyronza Cemetery.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
