Della Mae Whitfield, 55, of Osceola died of heart failure Monday, April 12, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis.

Born in Osceola, she worked as a home health nurse and was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Osceola.

Survivors include a daughter, Denise Sullivan of Osceola; a sister, Mozetta Whitfield of Osceola; and three brothers, Alfonzo McDonald of St. Louis, Frisco McDonald of Pine Bluff and Luther Whitfield of Osceola.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 17 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Cecil Thomas officiating. Burial followed in Whiteside Cemetery at Osceola.
