Tim Aurthur James Jr., 8, of Lepanto died Tuesday, April 20, at Regional Medical Center of NEA.

He was a second-grade student at East Poinsett County School in Lepanto.

Survivors include his parents, Tim Authur James Sr. of Marion and Amy Roach James of Lepanto; one sister, Silver James of New York City; two brothers, Brandon Lee James of Osceola and Dustin Lee James of Lepanto; maternal grandmother, Linda Roach of Lepanto; and paternal grandmother, Betty Brewer of Marion.

Aurthur was preceded in death by his grandfathers Larry Brewer and Henry Lee "Pee Wee" Roach.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 26 at Murphy Funeral Home chapel, with Danny Pankey officiating. Burial followed in Garden Point Cemetery at Etowah.
