He was a member of the Lepanto Church of Christ, where he served as an elder and the Education Director for many years. He was a retired Arkansas Highway Transportation Department District materials supervisor for 35 years and Veteran of the Naval Reserve. He also served on the board of Stevens Square.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Atkinson Glover of Lepanto; a son Stan and his wife Cara Glover of Searcy; a sister Marge Bradshaw of Jonesboro; three brothers: Ernest Glover of Canyon Country, Calif., Jim Glover of Laguna Hills, Calif. and Alan Glover of Yumatilla, Ore.; and 2 grandsons: Derek Glover and Ryne Glover, both of Searcy.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Lepanto with Carl Williamson officiating. Burial followed at Potter Memorial Cemetery.
