John D. Bryan, 58, of Lepanto died Monday, May 10, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis.

He was a farmer and a member of Little River Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Bryan of Ohio; two daughters, Jennifer Bryan of Canada and Meredith Bryan of Ohio; two sisters, Sally Blake of Marked Tree and Virginia Oberste of Fort Smith; a brother, Benny Joe Bryan of Osceola; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Hamer Bryan; two brothers: Tom Bryan and Wayne Bryan; and three sisters: Carolyn Bryan, Novella Bryan and Velma Bryan.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 13 in the chapel of Murphy Funeral Home, with Gary Masters officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Billy Allen, Johnny Ragan, Whit Lacy, Warren Lacy, Edward Blacke, Ernest Simmons and James Simmons.
