Allie Vee Dunavant

Allie Vee Dunavant, 77, of Hot Springs Village died Friday, June 25, in Hot Springs.

She had lived in Keiser and Caraway before moving to Hot Springs Village, was a housewife and a member of Mountainside United Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village.

Survivors include her husband, Harry P. Dunavant Jr.; two sons, Harry P. Dunavant III of Little Rock and Henry Denton Dunavant of Gallatin, Tenn.; two daughters, Kathy Jane Clark of Branson, Mo., and JoLynn Dunavant of Rogers; four grandchildren, Kelly Jo Lane, Jania Beth Smith, Brian Daniel Brickell and Lindsey Ann Smith; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Allie Boland Denton, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 28 in the chapel of Roller-Swift Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lyndol Loyd officiating. Burial followed in Potter's Cemetery at Lepanto.

Memorials may be made to Mountainside United Methodist Church, Caraway United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
