Born June 1, 1950 in Braggadocio, Mo., the daughter of the late Willie and Isabell Oliver Gargis, she was a longtime resident of Cooter, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed doll collecting, arts and crafts,fishing and hunting. She was very proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Vaughn Hollins and one sister, Jueldean Smith.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-laws: Debbie and Jerry Aspinwall of Marion and Evonne and Marty Crocker of Braggadocio, Mo.; one son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Lacy Hollins of Marked Tree; six brothers: Jack Parham of Sikeston, Mo., Junior Gargis of Clarkton, Mo., James and Bobby Gargis, both of Florida, Danny Gargis of Doniphan, Mo., and John Gargis of Booneville, Miss.; two sisters: Willie Higgins of Huffman and Vickie Smith of Holland, Mo.; and seven grandchildren: Justin Crocker of Caruthersville, Mo., Taylor Crocker of Braggadocio, Mo., Christian Aspinwall of Marion, Gunnar Hollins of Steele, Mo., Amber Hollins of Marked Tree, Colby Crocker of Braggadocio, Mos. And Heather Caroline Hollins of Marked Tree.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4 at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Rev. Rusty Blann officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo.
