Martha Lucell Simmons, 53, of Lepanto died Sunday, August 1 at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.

She was a resident of Three Rivers Nursing Center and a member of Red Oak Baptist Church.

She was survived by her husband, Clyde R. Simmons; one son, David Simmons and wife Jaelu Simmons of Lepanto; and one granddaughter, Casey Simmons of Lepanto.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug 3 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Lepanto with J.E. Crawford and Larry Deaton officiating. Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery.

Pall bearers were Jerry Carter, Eric McGhee, Jimmy Meeks, Tommy Meeks, Clyde Hood and Paul Hood.

Memorial contributions may be made to Red Oak Baptist Church.
