Formerly of Memphis, Boggs graduated from Oak Haven High School and was a member of the Thespian Club. She attended the University of Memphis where she was a member of the Drama Department. She was employed by Tennessee Voices for Children and was a communicant of St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral.
Survivors include her husband, Barry Boggs of the home; her mother, Beulah Shackelford of Memphis; one step-son: Darian Boggs of College Park, Md.; two daughters: Zoe Boggs and Sarah Boggs, both of Franklin; and two brothers: Fred Shackelford and Matt Shackelford, both of Memphis.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18 at St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Memphis. Burial will follow at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 19 at Marked Tree Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Murphy's Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis.
