She was a member of the Lepanto Church of Christ and was employed with JC Portis Company for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, one sister, one granddaughter and one grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Victor Cornish of Lepanto; one son: Barry Cornish of Lepanto; one daughter: Lisa Hill of Wynne; two sisters: Betty Steakley and Jo Ann Parker, both of Lepanto; one brother: Charles McVay of Oceanside, Calif.; and five grandchildren: Kayla Rogers, Kelsey Cornish, Cassandra Cornish, Courtney Hill and Megan Hill.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 23 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Masters officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery.
