Born at Nettleton, Miss., he was a farm worker and of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kimble of Lepanto; two daughters, Brenda Brown of Lepanto and Janice Carruth of Manila; one sister, Stella Raines of Lepanto; three brothers, London Kimble, Johnny Kimble and Melvin Kimble, all of Nettleton, Miss.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son; his parents; four sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11 at the Pentecostal Church of God at Etowah with Rev. Rob McIllwain and Rev. Jeff Miles officiating. Burial followed in Garden Point Cemetery at Etowah under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
Active pallbearers included family and friends.
