Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born on Apr. 1, 1921, May was a homemaker and a
member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church in Brush Creek, Ark. Survivors
include two daughters, Mary Johnson and Nadine Davis, both of Osceola; two
sons, Dewayne May of Manila and Franklin May, Jr. of Poyen, Ark., two
sisters, Beulah Martin of Stuttgart and Betty Dixon of Lepanto and one
brother, Leamon Gould of Lepanto. May was preceded in death by her husband,
Franklin May, one daughter, Arlene May, one son, Herman May; one sister and
three brothers. Funeral services were held last Saturday at Wilson Funeral
Home in Osceola, with Bro. Steven D. Franklin officiating. Burial followed
at Manila Cemetery in Manila, with Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola in charge
of the arrangements.
