Lizzie Hinton, 88, of Tyronza died Monday at the Three Rivers Nursing Center in Marked Tree.

A member of the Church of God, Hinton was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Hinton and a grandson, Shane Hinton. Hinton is survived by two sons, Robert E. Hinton of Ackley, Iowa, William C. Hinton of Tyronza; one daughter, Ruth Ross of Memphis; two sisters, Jewell Mitchell of Mishawaka, Indiana, Betty Smith of Tyronza; and two brothers, Elzie Lee Price of Waterloo, Alabama and Eugene Price of North Liberty, Indiana. Hinton is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Grave side services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Tyronza Cemetery, with burial following in Tyronza Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
