Ruth Savage Miller

Ruth Savage Miller, 85, of Lepantodied Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Quince Nursing Home in Memphis.

Miller was a member of Cherokee Baptist Church in Memphis. She was also a member of the Church On Mill in Tempe, Ariz. for forty years. Miller once worked as an assembler at a camera maufactoring company.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: John, James, Edgar and Roy Savage; and four sisters: Mable York, Myrtle Porter, Mary Pace and Ruby Hazuri.

Survivors include three sons: James Franklin McKinney of Albuquerque, N.M., Samuel Arthur McKinney of Florence, Ky., and David Presley McKinney of Phoenix; one daughter: Pam McKinney of Memphis; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 17 in the chapel of Murphy Funeral Home of Lepanto, with Dennis Woods of the Church On Mill officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Pallbearers were Adam Pace, Bill Pace, Sam Pace, Ed McGowen, Edward McGowen and Josh Ulrich.
