A Blytheville native, she was a faithful Christian all of her life. She was a homemaker and the oldest charter member of West Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters: Flora Bass Walker of Marked Tree, Julia Mae Franks of Bono, Onie Morris of Blytheville and Lois Simmons of Futheyville, Miss.; a son: Otis "Sonny" McCollister of Crawfordsville; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde McCollister; two daughters: Emma Jewel McCollister and Ester Lee Branscum; her parents: Benjamin Reed and Estella Dial; two sisters: Edna Adams and Ilean Jackson; and two brothers: Arthur Alexander and Lee Alexander.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Leroy Franks and Larry Deaton officiating. Burial followed in Garden Point Cemetery at Etowah.
Memorials may be made Red Oak Baptist Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
