Mrs. Irene Oldham, 85, of Zachary, La, died Sunday, March 20 at the Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, La.

Oldham was a native of Tyronza, a resident of Zachary, La. for the past 11 years and a former resident of Portland and Marked Tree for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Marked Tree.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Oldham, Sr. in 1984; two sons, Bill Oldham in 1992 and Martin Oldham in 2001; a daughter, Susan Lawson in 2004; her parents Martin and Susan DeSpain Coats, and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Joan Oldham of Portland; two granddaughters, Emily Oldham of Monticello, AR and Amy Mimiaga and husband, Rob, of Denver, CO and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services and burial services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22 the Portland Cemetery with Stanton Veazey officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
