Born in Gilmore, he was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen White of Gilmore; one daughter, Curly White of Minneapolis, Minn; one son: Curtis White, Jr. of Osceola; two step-daughters: Mary Benson of Dallas, Texas and Arletha Lauderdale of West Memphis; three step-sons: Clarance Benson of Memphis, Tenn. And Kenneth Bernard Benson and Melvin Bogan, both of Gilmore; one brother, Ira White of St. Louis, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Georiga Mae Johnson and Wille Bell Smith and two brothers: Joe White and Johnny Miles.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7 at Union Grove Baptist Church in Gilmore with Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial followed in Gilmore Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza handled the arrangements.
