Billy "Punk" Gill Jr., 47, of Brookland, died Thursday, July 7 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Gill was employed by Roadway Express Trucking Co. and attended Cornerstone United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Gill, and his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Gill of the home; two sons, Dustin Gill of Tyronza and Cameron James of Brookland; his parents, Billy and Betty Gill of Tyronza; a brother, Tim Gill of Trumann; and two sisters, Tammy Gill of Jonesboro and Jerrie Craft of Tyronza

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 with Terry Tacker and Tommy Toombs officiating. Burial followed in Tyronza Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Eddie Hatcher, Ricky Skipper, David Smith, Garry Huckabay, Larry Huckabay, Lance Sharpe, Brad Nelson and Donald Palmer.
