Stanley Harold Gibbs, 55, of Marked Tree died Monday, Aug. 15, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

Survivors include three sisters: Mauvene Yarbrough and Iris Jean Cox, both of Marianna, and Marie Marshall of Marked Tree; and two brothers, Lawrence Gibbs of Tyronza and Archie Gibbs of Lepanto.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stan and Dorothy (Crouch) Gibbs.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18 at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree. Burial followed in Fisher Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were George Motes, Jeremy Huffins, Bobby Swan, Jason Clark, David Stone and Matt Brown.

Honorary pallbearers were Donald Ray Ford, Marty Turpin, Lonnie Hicks, Hoppy Counce, Tony Edens and Dean Cummins.
