Ruth L.V. Pelts, 97, Of Tyronza died Friday, Aug. 19 at Booneville Community Hospital in Booneville.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Living Water Pentecostal Church in Tyronza.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oakley Pelts; her parents, Mariah Julian Farmer and George Farmer.

Survivors include one son, Allen Pelts of Tyronza; one daughter, Sue Hale of Booneville; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 22 at Living Waters Pentecostal Church of God in Tyronza with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Burial followed in Tyronza Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis.
