Bertha Mae Hudson, 95, of Marked Tree died Wednesday, Sept. 7, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born at Tyronza, she was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Marked Tree. She was also an active part of the Marked Tree Senior Life Center.

Survivors include her grandsons, Steve Hudson and Gary Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Hudson; a daughter, Robbie Lynn Hudson; a son, Rickey Hudson; her parents, James Auston and Angie Roan Price; five sisters, Alice Carter, Bell Bullard, Gussie Barber, Rosie Morrow and Minnie O'Dell; and three brothers, Arthur Price, Lesley Price and Virgel Price.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8 at First Baptist Church in Marked Tree. The Rev. Jerry Kausler and Dan Reeves officiated.

Burial followed in the Whitton Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers included her nephews.
