Joe H. Jones, 78, of Tyronza died Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Lola Faye Young Jones of the home, two sons: Joe David Jones of Phinix City, Ala. and Steve Jones of Marion; one daughter: Linda Phillips of Marked Tree; two sisters: Aline Warren of West Memphis and Myrtle Domaingue of Dodson, La.; two brothers: Ensley Jones and Ed Barnes, Jr., both of Marion; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lillie Kimble Jones.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Marked Tree First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Kausler officiating. Burial followed in Tyronza Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis.

Pallbearers were Jeff Phillips, Marc Phillips, Michael Jones, Jerry Miller, Jay Baker, Mike Walker, Jeremy Jones and Jason Jones.

Honorary pallbearers included Cloyce Hamilton, Tommy Kyle, Eugene Hates, Pettigrew Jett, Coy Sutton and Ricky Nicks.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Marked Tree or to a charity of the donor's choice.
