He was a farmer and attended the Church of God in Lepanto. He was on the board of commissions of Steven's Square for 28 years.
He was preceded in death by one son.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Patsy Long of Lepanto; four daughters: Sandra Walling of Lepanto, stepdaughter Sue Truelove of Lepanto, stepdaughter Bea Dollar of Marmaduke and stepdaughter Rhonda Williamson of Trumann; one sister: Virginia Glover of Canyon, Calif; one niece: Bernice Darnell of Memphis; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto with Larry Deaton and Kenneth Bass officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
Pallbearers were John Walling, Brad Walling, Tim Long, Wesley Dollar, Joe Dollar, Braden Truelove, Jason Truelove and Colt Williamson.
