Velma Bagley Bray, 71, of Manila died Sunday, Oct. 23 at Manila Nursing Home.

She was a homemaker and a member of Caraway Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Bray, and one sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Jernigan of Collierville, Tenn. And Polly Girdley of Etowah; two sons: Tommy Bagley of Caraway and Kevin Bagley of Paragould; four sisters: Bobbie Hall of West Memphis, Genece Crumby of Helena, Mary Jane Hunkapiller of Jonesboro and Patsy Everhart of West Helena; three brothers: Johnny Mann of Amarillo, Texas, Billy Ray Mann of Cassopolis, Mich. and Elmer Mann of West Helena; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto with Rick Stevens officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Active pallbearers included Greg Simpson, Heath Primm, Mack Primm and Danny Austin. Britt Jernigan, Jr. served as an honorary pallbearer.
