Richard E. Burress, 67, of Tyronza died Nov. 4 at his residence.

He was a retired factory worker, an army veteran and a member of Tyronza First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Burress of Tyronza; one son: Gregory O. Fleming of Alexandria; two sisters: Opal Linley of Joiner and Vickie Haney of Jonesboro; one brother: Frankie Cavitt of West Memphis and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Hall.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 at Tyronza First Baptist Church. Burial followed in Mississippi County Memorial Garden.
