Born in Booneville, Miss. in 1929, Morgan was a cook for the school cafeteria and a member of the Carrolls Corner Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Etowah.
Morgan was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Morgan.
Survivors include three sons: C.D. Morgan of Columbus, Ga., Freddie Morgan of Caraway and Billy Wayne Morgan of Appleton, Wisc.; one daughter: Johnnie Holmes of West Memphis; five sisters: Louise Oakes of Lepanto, Inez Lunsford of West Memphis, Sophia Bullard of Marked Tree, Sylvia Girdley of Sulphur, La. and Onedia Crawford of Little Rock; four brothers: Cleston Brimingham of Dallas, Texas, Troy Brimingham of Cofton, Ga., Ezra Brimingham of Henrietta, Miss. and Vee Dee Brimingham of Kansas; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at the Carrolls Corner Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Etowah with Bro. Alvin Willbanks and Bro. Tommy Willbanks officiating. Burial followed in Potters Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza.
